Frequently
Asked Questions
Do I really need a planner/coordinator?
YES! With a coordinator there you get to be a guest at your own wedding along with your closest friends and family! Everyone you care about should enjoy the day and leave the working part to your coordinator to handle.
Why Emerald Engagements over all the other options?
We are passionate about wedding planning. I walk into every wedding day as if it’s my own and do everything in my power to make sure your vision comes to life and everything is executed well. I have trained all my girls to also see each of their clients wedding day like this. If it wouldn’t be good enough for my wedding I don’t want it for my clients. I want the best of the best for them!
What is your favorite part about planning weddings?
I love watching your vision come to life. I am also a huge people person so I love reaching out to other vendors for you and connecting to make sure your vision will become a reality.
How much is the initial consultation?
Free of charge! Let’s grab a coffee and talk wedding!
How do I book you as my planner?
Sign the contract and pay the retainer stated on your contract via CC.
How early should I book a planner?
The earlier the better! Having someone hired and someone to help you along the way is a huge stress reliever. However, I will take on new clients even if your wedding is just two weeks away so do not hesitate to reach out last minute!
Do you also plan the rehearsal dinner?
Yes! I love to help plan your entire wedding weekend. We can chat about what the additional charge would be. I would make all the arrangements, and coordinate the whole night. We also love planning the morning after brunches and activities!
Do you have preferred vendors you refer to?
Yes, I have a couple from every category who does excellent work and I would love to make recommendations throughout the whole planning process so make sure you get the best of the best!
Do you travel?
Yes, but keep in mind events 50+ miles from the Great Seattle Area will require an extra charge.
